Job Title:Automotive General Service Technician / MechanicLocation:  4376 LA-22, Mandeville, LA 70471, USAJob Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced Senior GS Technician who would be primarily responsible for oil & tire services, as well as vehicle inspections to assess maintenance and safety issues. If you are currently working within the industry and actively wanting to grow your skill set, please express interest - we provide study materials, online and in person training for those seeking ASE/L1 certifications, and your training plan would be developed in house with our Service Manager.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and morePerform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulationsWork as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectivelyComplete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspectionsEnsure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurateComply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-knowAssist in all housekeeping functions as directed by ManagementWork closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guest's vehicleFollow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
